About Us

At the International Foundation for Waqf Development (IFWD), our mission is to uplift communities through charitable initiatives. Rooted in the spirit of Waqf— Islamic endowment for the public good—we are dedicated to fostering Islamic spiritual uprightness, social welfare, education, and empowerment. Our work extends beyond providing immediate relief; we strive to create long-term opportunities that enable individuals and families to lead dignified and self-sufficient lives.

Education is at the heart of our efforts. Through our  scholarship for orphans program, we provide access to quality Islamic  education for orphaned children, helping them build a future filled with islamic morals, spirituality, hope and opportunity. Additionally, our free Madrasah for Tahfidhul  Qur’an initiative offers underserved Muslim children the opportunity to memorize the Qur’an, preserving religious values and traditions while nurturing young minds.

Our commitment to social welfare extends to ensuring food security for vulnerable families. We distribute food and financial aid during and after Ramadan, Eid, Arafah day, and other significant occasions, supporting widows and those in need.

Through our empowerment programs, we  equip individuals with essential resources and skills which will help them achieve self-reliance. From supporting small businesses to offering vocational training, we believe in giving people the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty.

As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our mission to expand our impact and reach more people in need, In Shaa Allah. With the continued support of our donors and partners, we will push forward in our goals to give hope to people, build communities guided by Islamic morals and ideals, and raise diligent individuals who earn a living through dignified efforts.

ZAKAT

Through our Zakat board, we receive Zakat from Muslim donors and distribute it to worthy beneficiaries as business grants to scale their businesses to the level which will allow them to give back to the society.

WAQF

We manage and coordinate the establishment of waqf (endowment) projects on behalf of interested individuals and donors. Projects such as the building of mosques, building of schools and  orphanages, and construction of industrial boreholes in underserved communities.

SADAQAH

We initiate charity outreach for vulnerable individuals in the society such as widows, divorcees, orphans, individuals struggling with debts, students struggling with school fee payments, and the needy.
